		<description>it looks to me like the Canadian government is as clueless as the US about DRM and consumer rights.  My interest is in consumer rights in relation to fair use and the negative effect DRM will have on the average consumer who isn&#039;t that well versed  in tech and don&#039;t really care how stuff works and just wants it to works.and suddenly things the did work don&#039;t and DRM is not letting do what they used to.

I think you will find my blog interesting in that I deal with  issues related to DRM that aren&#039;t often thought of,, until its too late.

		<description>Most people do not get technology.  They use it with out understanding how it changes the world for good or ill.  Entertainment is a powerful force in culture not business.  Are Canadian politicians making good decisions? Will they be influenced by money changing hands?  Politicians juggling too many points of view from so many special interest groups  reminds me of the quote &quot;as for laws and sausages you do not want to know what goes into making either of them&quot;  Are these issues going to win elections?  not likely.  So they remain hen scratch on queue cards of early morning TV.</description>
