The Portable Consultant has always sought to put technology in context. One should have some understanding of how the user is going to relate the application to their daily tasks, for example. Hope would instant messaging between colleagues affect their workflow, for another.

So, how would a massive userbase of billions, each with dozens of data points be used? Why, for marketing cars and gum, of course. Except that it will also be used for marketing political views. And not only by politicians within a country! The Internet is global! Why not let others have a turn at manipulating the views of the population?
